Animal Control Our Animal Control Officer is Ryan Kunkel. You can contact Ryan by calling or texting (207) 610-3571. You can obtain a dog license by coming into the town office at 32 Main Street. All dogs over 6 months of age must be licensed by January 31st of each year. Fees for unaltered dogs are $11.00 and spayed/neutered dogs are $6.00. A late fee of $25.00 must be charged on all late licenses. Proof of current rabies vaccination is required and you must provide a spay/neuter certificate in order to obtain the lesser fee. All dog licensing fees are set by the State of Maine and fees collected support state and local animal welfare programs.
